The soundtrack for one of the greatest thrillers of the 1990s is getting a release on vinyl. Waxwork Records is releasing the score for Se7en, composed by Howard Shore, on a 150-gram colored vinyl with elements designed by Steve Reeves. Pre-orders for the physical release are live now for $40 and will ship in January 2024.
The product description reads: “Master composer Howard Shore’s score adds a somber and menacing component to the film. The dark and symphonic orchestrations undermine Fincher’s gruesome imagery with unyielding tension throughout the film. Shore’s deeply resonant brass and high eerie strings drag the listener deeper into the brutal and chaotic world of SE7EN.”
The upcoming Se7en release includes:
- The complete 1995 score by composer Howard Shore
- 150-gram “Lust & Sloth”-colored vinyl
- Heavy gatefold jackets with matte-satin coating
- 11″ x 11″ art print
- Layout design of the original film elements by Steve Reeves
