Volkswagen gives bus the EV treatment –

The VW bus is back. Volkswagen has announced that it is giving the electric car treatment to one of its most famous cars, with this new variant known as the ID. Buzz.

Reportedly a seven-passenger vehicle with 2,469 liters of storage space, this car is powered by an 85 kWh battery and comes with a 210 kW electric drive motor that can see the Buzz reach 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. Volkswagen also promises that a more powerful version of the Buzz will also be available, with this one featuring a 250 kW engine that reduces the 0-100 km/h sprint to 6.4 seconds.
