Longtime friends, Julia Roberts has spoken about how the Clooney family “saved her” during filming, which took place at the height of the pandemic.

In an interview with the New York Times, Roberts and Clooney talked about their latest collaboration.

“We started on Hamilton Island, with all these wild birds, and Julia had the house just down the road from where Amal and I and the kids lived,” George Clooney explained. “We’d go out early in the morning and yell, ‘Chirp-chirp,’ and Julia would yell back, ‘Chirp-chirp.’ And then I’d bring her a cup of coffee. She was Aunt Juju to my kids,” the actor continued.
