The final trailer for Halloween Ends teases Michael Myers’ latest murder. Audiences had something to look forward to after the shocking ending of Halloween Kills, in which Michael survived the fight with the Haddonfield mob and then killed them all, returning to his childhood home and stabbing Karen (Judy Greer).
The wait is over.
Halloween Ends will once again focus on Laurie, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, and Allyson (Andi Matichak), who is trying to survive the trauma.
Along with Curtis and Matichak, the cast for Halloween Ends includes the return of James Jude Courtney, as well as Nick Castle as Michael. Will Patton, Omar Dorsey and Kyle Richards will also be in attendance, with the cast marking the debut of Rohan Campbell.
New trailer for Halloween Ends offers interesting insight
With less than a month left until release, Universal Pictures has released a final trailer for Halloween Ends. The clip focuses on Michael Myers’ latest murder, as well as a series of confrontations between Laurie and Michael in her home.
However, the trailer hints at what’s more interesting you’ll get to see in the film when it’s released. Co-writer/director David Gordon Green has previously indicated that the film will not explain Michael’s whereabouts in the four years between Halloween Ends and Kills, unfortunately.
Aside from Michael’s new murder, the final trailer for Halloween Ends also offers an interesting new insight into Laurie’s mental state.
With the final Halloween Ends trailer showing Laurie seemingly victorious in her battle with Michael, it will be interesting to see if she truly becomes the last “girl” left alive or if she too falls prey to Haddonfield’s most sinister killer when the film hits theaters and the Peacock on October 14 – just in time for the real Halloween.
