VIDEO Clerks III trailer finally released: when you can see the film in cinemas

The good news is that, after more than a decade, the sequel to the hit film that audiences loved so much will finally be released. Clerks III will be available in cinemas soon.

The film’s action takes place more than 15 years after Randal and Dante decide to buy Quick Stop in order to bring it back to life, but all of this is somewhat interrupted by tragedy: Randal suffers a heart attack but survives, giving him the opportunity for a fresh start with new visions.

Jeff Anderson and Brian O’Halloran return to the cast of Clerks III, along with Marilyn Ghigliotti as Veronica, Rosario Dawson as Becky, Trevor Fehrman as Elias, Jason Mewes as Jay, and Kevin Smith as Silent Bob.

After Clerks II, Smith chose to draw inspiration from his own health issue (the 2018 heart attack), finally getting it all together in early 2021 after finalizing the script and teaming up with Lionsgate for filming that same year. Production on Clerks III wrapped in August, and he originally planned to release the first trailer at San Diego Comic-Con.

The first official trailer for Clerks III has been delayed

Just months before the film’s arrival, Lionsgate has released the official trailer for Clerks III. The video shows you exciting details of what’s to come as Randal makes a film based on his and Dante’s lives, and even reveals two resonant names: Ben Affleck and Justin Long.

The arrival of the first Clerks III trailer comes a little later than Smith had hoped, but it’s never too late. So fans can expect this sequel to be one worthy of the first two films – or, it remains to be seen if it will be.

Clerks III will be officially released in theaters on September 13, 2022.
