Ukraine claims that Russian troops have withdrawn from Kremina in Lugansk region

Zelensky aide says “liberation of Donetsk and Lugansk” will create “political destabilization in Russia.”

Sep 13 () -.

Ukrainian authorities have assured Tuesday that Russian troops have left the town of Kremina, located in the Lugansk region (east), amid a series of counteroffensives launched by Ukrainian forces over the past few days.

“The Russians have completely abandoned Kremina, although the Armed Forces have not yet entered the city,” the head of the Lugansk Regional Administration, Serhiy Haidai, said in a message on his Telegram account.

He has also stressed that the authorities “are monitoring the situation in Liman, the liberation of which is key for the region.” “There is fighting going on around the city,” he detailed, before stressing that “the large-scale disengagement of Lugansk will start from Kremina and Svatovo.”

For his part, Mikhail Podoliak, advisor to the Ukrainian Presidency, has pointed out that “the liberation of Donetsk and Lugansk will generate a domino effect, the collapse of the Russian front and political destabilization in Russia.” “It is possible. Weapons are needed,” he has assessed through his account on the social network Twitter.

In this sense, Podoliak has denounced that “Russia fights against civilians, so it is mandatory to have the protection of critical infrastructure facilities through air defense systems.”
