Last week Ubisoft officially launched The Crew Motorfest, a game that takes players to the striking island of Oahu, Hawaii for a celebration of all things cars and motorsports. We’ve already shared our thoughts on the game in our review here, but to mark the title’s launch, Ubisoft also wanted to surprise some cab and Uber-goers in London and Manchester.
As Top Gear reports, Ubisoft has joined the ranks of Uber’s car offerings and cab services by having a collection of supercars and hypercars available to drive. The concept was called Crew Cabs, and saw a McLaren Senna, a Bentley Continental GT, a Porsche 911 and a Chevrolet Corvette all present and surprising some Uber and cab users over the weekend.
If this is how Ubisoft is celebrating the launch of The Crew Motorfest in the UK, we can only wonder what they have planned for Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora at the end of the year.
