It seems AI is breaking new boundaries with each passing day. While it may still be in its infancy, we are seeing the beginnings of some groundbreaking and sometimes terrifying technology. For example, look at Spot, the robot dog from Boston Dynamics.

Thanks to ChatGPT and Google’s text-to-speech, the little mechanical beast can now talk. Boston Dynamics also programmed Spot to have yes and no responses, which amounts to small vibrations of its body.

The whole thing is pretty endearing, but it’s yet another step in robotics and AI getting closer to what was previously considered nothing more than science fiction. Watch the video of Spot learning to talk in the Twitter post below:
