Usually, for obvious reasons, cars and alcohol don’t mix very well. One exception to this rule is Bowmore’s Aston Martin Masters Selection, which has given us 2 incredible whiskies in the past.
Now here we are with the third in the series. Uniting two prestigious worlds, the whisky opens with an aroma of lemon peel and contains hints of treacle, toffee, antique oak, soft leather and roasted chestnuts. You’ll taste nuts, sherry, chocolate, berries and smoke in this bottle, which finishes with oak spice and sea salt.
If that all sounds lavish, it’s because it is, with a price tag to match. Limited to one per customer, this whiskey will cost you £425, which is nowhere near as much as an Aston Martin, but it’s certainly much more than your average bottle of whiskey.
