A playful drone

Unlike well-known models such as the DJI Mini 2 or DJI Mini 3 Pro, the Tello focuses on having fun flying, not taking high-quality photos and videos. The built-in camera is therefore kept rather simple, but there are many exciting flight options.

You can perform a variety of 8D stunts like flips and somersaults that would not be possible with other drones. The launch of the drone is also unconventional. Instead of having to find a launch spot, you can just throw them in the air. A special bounce mode also allows you to safely take off and land the Tello from your hand.

Of course, you don’t have to do without aerial photos entirely. The Tello offers various photo and video modes that their 720p camera with 5 megapixels to use. However, the material is not stabilized mechanically by a gimbal, as is the case with special video drones, but digitally.
