The Last Case of Benedict Fox by Plot Twist is a 2.5D Metroidvania with serious cosmic horror vibes and is available for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It is also playable on Game Pass. Check out the release trailer below, which gives a quick teaser of the surreal environments Detective Fox must venture into.

The story takes place in a flashy Jazz Noir city, with dark organizations lurking in the shadows. It concerns Fox and his demonic companion as they investigate a dilapidated mansion. After a young couple dies and their child disappears, it’s up to the duo to find them. Benedict’s father also seems to be involved, adding to the mystery.

With the power to explore the minds of the recently deceased, players explore inner worlds made up of memories, emotions and traumatic past experiences. Fox can protect himself with a knife and firearm, but can also use demonic powers to strike and throw enemies.
