The Division 2 may get Winter DLC, reveal during Gamescom – That’s Gaming

Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment previously hinted at a “big project” around Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 for Gamescom, and it now looks very much like this is a NEW DLC will be. Initial teasers point toward a winter version of Washington D.C.

Via Twitter/X, the developer reported that SHD scanners unusual activity detect and that more “intel” will follow during Gamescom. The accompanying image shows Agents plowing through snowy streets, with the double hint “Stay frosty.” This suggests that Survival mode from The Division 1 may be making its comeback – a popular extraction-style mode that many fans still miss.

Massive holds two panels during Gamescom: the first goes behind the scenes at Battle for Brooklyn and seasons, the second revolves around how community feedback continues to shape the looter-shooter genre, with the unveiling of this “big project” as the highlight.
