Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is a game that fans of the racing series have been waiting for for some time, and a handful of delays have only made that wait longer. Previously scheduled for release last year, in July, publisher Nacon confirmed that the game had been delayed until early 2024, and now the publisher has further narrowed that release date window.
As spotted by The Loadout, Nacon confirmed in its recent quarterly report that Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will be released sometime in the current fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023/24 – meaning it won’t be released until March 31 at the earliest. The first quarter of the calendar year is where most would presumably have thought of “early 2024,” and Nacon seems to be sticking to that schedule.
When exactly the game’s specific release date will be announced remains to be seen. Could it appear during the upcoming State of Play showcase? That’s certainly a possibility, if nothing else. Either way, one would expect a release date to be announced soon, if the game does indeed come out before April.
At launch, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
