Syria denounces an air strike by Israel in southern Damascus

MADRID, Feb. 17 (Royals Blue) –

The Syrian authorities have denounced this Wednesday an air attack allegedly carried out by Israeli planes against southern Damascus without, for the moment, having reported on victims, as confirmed by military sources cited by the Syrian state news agency, SANA.

These sources have detailed that the air attack was carried out around 11:35 am (local time) with ground missiles from the Syrian Golan Heights, occupied by Israel.

According to the information collected by SANA, the Syrian air defense systems have shot down the missiles, which would have caused material damage in the surroundings of the town of Zakiya, in the south of Damascus.
