Spanish crypto exchange Bit2Me raises €14 million

Bit2Me has just collected 14 million euros from Investcorp, Cardano and others. The cryptocurrency exchange platform based in Spain now wants to set course for theLatin America.

This Thursday, Spain’s Bit2Me has announced that it has closed a 14 million euro financing round led by bahrain investment fund Investcorp.

La fund raising of the crypto exchange founded in Elche in 2014 and already backed by Telefónica also includes the participation of StratmindsCardano and YGG. The well-known Spanish mobile operator has also made a further investment in the platform.

Bit2Me is now looking to conquer the South American market. Last year, the company acquired the Peruvian exchange Fluyez. The newly-raised funds will also be used to strengthen its presence in its home country.
