Paradox Interactive today released a hefty load of new content for Cities: Skylines II. Players can immediately get started with two Creator Packs as well as two new radio stations that give your city a totally new atmosphere. The community itself was behind this expansion, as both the Skyscrapers and Supply Chains packs were designed by popular modders.
With Skyscrapers, created by REV0, gives your skyline a complete makeover. This collection of towering buildings takes inspiration from architecture from around the world and instantly adds a striking, modern look to your city. The new high-rise also comes with upgrades for city services, so it not only looks beautiful but also adds something functional.
The Cloud Lounge FM-radio station fits that perfectly, bringing laid-back lounge beats that sound like you’re listening to them from a rooftop bar. It gives your city an upscale, breezy vibe as you continue to build.
The second Creator Pack, Supply Chains, comes from community creator Badi_Dea and is all about industrial growth. From small workshops and farmers’ markets to giant factories, headquarters and retail, each building shows a different step in the production chain. You literally follow the path from raw material to finished product as your industrial area keeps expanding.
For those who prefer a more robust soundtrack, there is Synth & Steel Radio, where analog synths and industrial sounds come together. Ideal when you’re churning out a city full of infrastructure and activity.
On top of that, tomorrow, on Dec. 4, comes the Asset Mods-beta available. Allows players to create their own props and buildings and share them with the community via Paradox Mods.
All new DLCs are available individually or together in the Skyscrapers & Supply Chains Bundle for $21.90 (with 15 percent off).
