Sengoku Dynasty launched on Steam Early Access on Aug. 10 – That’s Gaming

Polish developer Superkami in collaboration with publisher Toplitz Productions announces that Sengoku Dynasty, their exciting multi-genre open-world RPG, city-builder, life simulation and survival game will launch on PC via Steam Early Access on August 10.

Sengoku Dynasty is an all-new adventure set against the backdrop of a fictional Japan ravaged by famine and war. Players will have to grow up from a simple peasant to a legend while securing their legacy and building their kingdom.

During Early Access, Sengoku Dynasty offers players hours of exploration, crafting and resource gathering alone or with up to 4 friends in the game’s co-op mode. With cultural accuracy at its core, developer Superkami has created a unique vision of life in feudal Japan. Using a range of information and visual sources, including historical and cinematic references, as well as photographs from museum exhibits, has ensured a realistic and faithful representation of the game’s historical context.

The visual power of Unreal Engine 5 brings the dramatic landscape of the Sengoku Dynasty to life. The vast open world embraces the changing seasons in multiple biomes, in which players can explore ancient forests, serene cherry orchards, mist-covered hot springs and snow-covered mountain terrain.

To enable the growth and development of their villages, players must make tools, weapons, meals or medicine, and cultivate the land to ensure the survival of their community. To manage multiple locations, players must create an extensive settlement to increase their influence, obtain essential resources and develop their projects. From rice fields and bridges to watchtowers and shrines, they have complete freedom to create huge interconnected cities designed the way they want.

Details on the game’s roadmap with future features and content updates that will further expand the player experience during the early access of the Sengoku Dynasty will be revealed in August.
