Samurai Shodown is one of the most unique fighting games out there. It may not be lavished in too many esports competitions and the FGC scene, but it is one of the best fighting games out there and brings a lot of value with its unique premise. Luckily, it looks like many more gamers who didn’t know about it will get a chance to play it soon, as Samurai Shodown has been announced to be released on Netflix
And it is not an anime adaptation as has happened with other famous video games and that is what Netflix had us used to. It is the launch of the video game on the platform.platform, following the strategy that we commented just ten days ago, where the video-on-demand giant confirmed its commitment to gaming.. And what a way to bet with this great title.
After obtaining the rights to the title, it will be released on its mobile gaming platform. The game will be free for all mobile device users with a Netflix subscription.
Samurai Shodown will launch on August 29 at 9 a.m. It will come shortly after the game had an initial trial run on the service in the Philippines. However, it will now be available worldwide.
Netflix subscribers will be able to access the game using Netflix. On both iOS and Android, it will now be included as part of their subscription. Anyone who has Netflix can download the game.
This is also a full version of the title. It has all the modes, characters, online and even the controls have been adapted for use on mobile devices.. In addition, players can use external controllers if they have one available.
We look forward to seeing how the title is received on the platform, we will certainly take a good look at it to revisit a classic fighting game in this new version.
