Samsung prepares Galaxy Book 3 Ultra with 16″ OLED display and GeForce RTX 470

Delivered in a slim form factor enclosure and weighing just 1.8kg, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra could pass as the lightest laptop with gaming affinities, as well as a credible alternative to the MacBook Pro series.

According to details provided by MySmartPrice, a famous source of unreleased Samsung product rumors, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra uses an X86 platform with an Intel Core 13th Gen processor and GeForce RTX 4070 graphics acceleration. Specifically, it’s Intel’s newest processor, the Core i9-13900H, helped with 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB SSD with PCIe 4.0 NVMe interface.

Samsung will ship the Book 3 with a 76WHr battery, which will be able to be charged at up to 136W using the USB-C adapter included in the accessory pack. The new laptop comes with Windows 11 pre-installed. The list of features is completed with a quad-speaker, Dolby Atmos certified speaker system.

At the same time, Samsung is also preparing a Galaxy Book 3 Pro, which will be available in 14″ and 16″ screen versions. Constrained by a lower budget, these will be available equipped with Intel Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P processors, respectively, Intel Iris Xe GPU graphics acceleration. The 14″ model will come in an 11mm thick case weighing 1.3Kg with a 63Whr battery. The 16″ variant will have a 13mm thick casing and weigh 1.3Kg, respectively, 76Whr battery. Both laptops will come with a 65W AC adapter.

Although based on Windows 11, the new laptops are expected to offer compatibility with the S Pen accessory.
