With this initiative, Reebok is following in the footsteps of its rivals Adidas, Puma and Nike, all of whom have moved into the Web3 and metaverse. This year, both the brand with the 3 stripes and the one with the panther organized sales in NFT format for physical sneakers. Nike is now focusing more on 100% digital sneakers.
We are more than delighted to announce our partnership with Reebok. This collaboration is a revolutionary fusion of AI, Web3, gaming and metaverse technologies, destined to transform how consumers define digital fashion,” enthused Futureverse co-founders Shara Senderoff and Aaron McDonald.
Last summer, the joint venture’s leaders announced a $50 million investment fund aimed at investing in blockchain projects.
