After a long wait, new game studio and publisher RapidEyeMovers and VR pioneers Wolf & Wood are pleased to announce the launch of C-Smash VRS on Friday, June 23, 2023.

C-Smash VRS brings slick, minimalist, feel-good sports fun into the home and is a complete reinvention of SEGA’s iconic Dreamcast and arcade icon “Cosmic Smash” for VR and online gameplay.

C-Smash VRS, an immersive full-body VR experience, combines the very best of racket sports and timeless action-puzzle gameplay. The game’s high level of physical immersion, variety of gameplay and distinct one-more-go quality provide endless fun.

The game has one simple goal: to make you feel good. Set in a utopia at the end of space and time, the low-gravity environments allow you to take amazing pictures from your wildest dreams. It’s what VR was always meant to be.

The single-player Journey mode uniquely brings rogue-like progression to a sports game with 100 levels and a host of power-ups to discover in the reaches of the cosmos.

Want to race against the clock, play with another player or just chill to the beat? You can choose to play alone or form a cosmic bond with a friend while exploring various online versus modes.

C-Smash VRS features original tracks by DJ Ken Ishii (Rez Infinite) and synth master Danalogue (frontman of The Comet is Coming), delivering a hypnotic soundtrack that makes both the game’s dynamic environments – and players’ bodies – pulsate to the rhythm .

Like VR tentpoles Beat Sabre and Pistol Whip, C-Smash VRS will continue to grow with new modes, features and content. We have an enthusiastic roadmap planned.
