Pokemon puts Lechonk in spotlight – That’s Gaming

As part of its one-year brand campaign, The Pokémon Company is giving International Trainers around the world the opportunity to pokémon together in a different way. By spotlighting different Pokémon in 2023, the brand is calling on the community to discover and learn about special Pokémon across the board. The first “Discover Pokémon Together” program kicks off today. In it, the Pokémon Lechonk of Normal type takes center stage. This Pokémon made its appearance in the mega-successful video games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

On the occasion of ‘Discover Pokémon Together: Lechonk’, The Pokémon Company International has released a new video featuring this Pokémon’s endearing and distinct tasting habits when searching for berries in its natural habitat. Fans can learn more about Lechonk here.

In addition, starting today and throughout April, Trainers can learn about Lechonk through a variety of products and in-game events.

Pokémon TCG expansion Scarlet & Violet with festive offers
Trainers can get to know Lechonk by playing the latest expansion to the successful Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet. It is available at participating stores worldwide starting today in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and special collections. The new expansion is inspired by the video games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. It includes an updated version of Pokémon ex, a game mechanic featuring Pokémon with high HP and powerful attacks and Ability’s, and introduces Tera Pokémon ex into the Pokémon TCG.

Trainers can additionally attach a Lechonk of the Flying-Tera type to Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet Add by getting a download code from Game Mania in the Netherlands. Download codes are available in stores and online while supplies last.

Activities around Lechonk in Pokémon UNITE
To discover Lechonk in Pokémon UNITE, players can throw a berry at Lechonk from March 31, 2023 at 02:00 CET to April 18, 2023 at 02:00 CET to receive free photo frames, stickers and other items from Lechonk.

Festive animation channel on Pokémon TV
Because Lechonk is so fond of the ripest berries, Trainers will have a special channel on Pokémon TV featuring episodes of the Pokémon animated series highlighting Pokémon berries. The episodes can be viewed from now until April 14 in the Pokémon TV app. It is available for mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch™ system and at watch.pokemon.com.
