Based on the release of the Galaxy Watch 5, the sixth generation of Samsung smartwatches could only be two to three months away.
According to rumors, the Galaxy Watch 6 will appear in a normal and a classic version. Now leaked render images reveal what makes the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic so classic – the return of a popular feature.
Bezel in physical and not digital
The rendered images are from OnLeaks via mysmartprice and show how the Classic-Variante the Galaxy Watch 6 should look like. Not only do they reveal that the new watch will look less like a smartwatch, but will be more based on classic analogue watches.
Added to this is the return of one physically rotating bezel. The last generation of Galaxy watches relied on a digital one, which serves its purpose but is less precise and less satisfying to use than a real bezel noticeable and audible clicks. Such was last used in the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.
In the pictures you can see that the bracelet has a magnetic closure will use. Also on the right are two physical buttonswhich are most likely used for “home” and “back”.
The Classic variant is intended to replace the Pro version and be more expensive than the normal Galaxy Watch 6. This will continue to rely on a sporty design with a digital bezel.
The new Galaxy Watches are expected to be released alongside the new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 folding phones. There is no exact release date for these yet, but they will be for Late July or mid-August 2023 expected. You can find out more about these two devices here:
