There has been a distinct lack of Nissan Skyline’s in the Fast and Furious universe since Brian O’Conner’s character was terminated following the untimely death of the actor playing him, Paul Walker. But any longtime fan of the Fast and Furious universe will know that the Skyline was once as iconic as that of Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger, which is why it is not surprising that the R34 Skyline that Walker drove in Fast and Furious 4 has just been sold at auction for a boatload of money.
As reported by Top Gear, the car was sold last weekend at auction house Bonhams in Brussels for a staggering $1,357,000.
The reason why the car sold for so much money was not just because of the Hollywood buzz. It is also because it is one-of-a-kind, and is actually a GT-R variant of the car that was made and then modified specifically for the movie and to Walker’s liking. It features a custom exhaust, intercooler, roll cage, brakes, bumpers, skirts, pedals, steering wheel and more, making it a very unique car indeed.
