Online multiplayer support for Arizona Sunshine, the popular VR zombie survival shooter, will cease on July 1, 2025 on all platforms. The decision comes with the discontinuation of the UNET service, which powers multiplayer functionality. However, the single player campaign will remain fully playable and unaffected.
For players who want to continue their multiplayer experience, there is the option to upgrade to Arizona Sunshine Remake, which is available for PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest and SteamVR for only $9.99. This next-gen version brings enhanced VR graphics, advanced combat, improved weapons, and includes both co-op and competitive multiplayer modes, including all previously released DLCs.
Multiplayer also remains available in Arizona Sunshine Remake and the more recent Arizona Sunshine 2.
