OnePlus Nord 2T receives preliminary specifications

Following in the footsteps of the popular Nord 2, the successor to the OnePlus Nord 2T is expected with the Dimensity 1300 chipset and fast charging of 80W.

Rather than appearing as a refresh version of the model launched in July 2021, the future representative of the mid-range OnePlus phone range will receive a performance-enhanced version of the Dimensity 1200 chipset and the same implementation of fast charging technology found in the flagship OnePlus 10 Pro.

Without major innovations in battery life, the Nord 2T offers the same 4500 mAh capacity, but the 0-100% charging time will fall below the 30-minute threshold set for the current model.

At the front we find the 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED screen, with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The photo setup also retains the previous recipe, delivering a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP auxiliary sensor for depth effects.

Except for small differences in terms of essentials (chipset, battery charging speed), we can expect the OnePlus Nord 2T to come with an exterior design and features almost identical to the current model.

OnePlus Nord 2T could be officially announced no later than February, replacing the current model in store offerings. The phone will come directly with the pre-installed version of OxygenOS 12 (Android 12).
