NFT: Nike will offer virtual sneakers with the Air Force 1

Nike announced the upcoming launch d‘a collection from digital sneakers named Our Force 1 (OF1) and making the beautiful part to its emblematic model Air Force 1 on .SWOOSHits platform NFT.

Nike has just presented a collection of “virtual creations” (editor’s note: NFT) co-developed by the community of its platform .SWOOSH counting today more than 300 000 participants.

According to a release, the collection Our Force 1 is presented in the form of two ” digital boxes “(New Wave and Classic Remix) sold for $19.82 each. Each contains an Our Force 1, a digital version of an Air Force 1, with unique features.

” OF1 is a tribute to the first 50 years of Nike and the creativity and versatility of theAir Force 1. The collection removes the barriers of the physical product, builds community and harnesses pioneering technology that fuels the future of sports,” says Nike.

Its platform launched a airdrop to select users for priority access to the sale, which will officially begin on May 10, 2023.

At the beginning of the year, .SWOOSH invited its users to create virtual sneaker designs. Some of the designs were included in the upcoming drop of the platform.

The OF1 collection shows how Nike will continue to innovate at the intersection of play and culture for the future of sports. OF1 is not the first initiative of the brand with the comma in the field of the digital sneakers. Last year, she launched a collection called CryptoKicks in collaboration with RTFKT, an NFT studio that she bought in late 2021.

Earlier this month, rival Adidas unveiled “ALTS by Adidas,” the latest phase of its NFT Into The Metaverse venture.
