German Lufthansa offers Uptripa platform built on Polygon which allows travelers to win trading cards NFT offering various benefits.
This Thursday, Polygon proudly announced that the private airline Lufthansa had launched its new loyalty platform on its popular Layer 2 solution dedicated to Ethereum.
Designed by the Lufthansa Innovation Hub and Miles & More, Uptrip rewards travelers with digital trading cards in NFT. Each collection requires different cards and, once completed, offers rewards such as free miles, upgrades and lounge access.
All Group airlines, including Austrian Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines, are taking part in the frequent flyer program based on non-fungible tokens.
Recently opened in beta, Uptrip already boasts 20,000 users and over 200,000 NFT issued. The company’s classic Miles & More loyalty program has almost 40 million subscribers.
