The 2025 edition of the Madden Bowl moves to London, marking the first time a Madden NFL 25 Championship Series (MCS) event has been held outside the United States. The finale of the largest tournament circuit in EA Sports’ American soccer video game franchise will pit Jonathan ‘JonBeast’ Marquez and Jacob ‘Fancy’ Worthington on March 3, 2025.
The new NFL 25 Madden Bowl date has been unveiled after the finale was delayed on February 8 due to PlayStation Network server issues. Aside from announcing the event in London, no exact details about the venue have been revealed.
JonBeast and Fancy qualified for the event through online competitions organized by the Challengermode tournament platform. In addition to the online competitions, Full Sail University hosted six regular season events from its dedicated eSports arena.
The two players will compete for a share of $400,000 in prize money. The winner will take home $250,000, while the runner-up will receive $150,000.. The finals will kick off on March 3 at 19:00 ET (midnight GMT) and will be streamed on EA’s Madden Twitch and YouTube channels. In addition, viewers who tune in to watch the action will be able to win Twitch drops by linking their EA and Twitch accounts.
We’re looking forward to offering our community a new and exciting experience from London with our first Madden NFL esports finals. It’s a great opportunity for our finalists to get the Championship moment they deserve, while celebrating the growing passion for American soccer on the world stage.
