New Pokemon TCG expansion Scarlet & Violet announced – That’s Gaming

The Pokémon Company International has announced the latest expansion to the popular Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG): Scarlet & Violet-Paldea Evolved. This expansion will be available at participating stores worldwide starting June 9, 2023.

Scarlet & Violet-Paldea Evolved introduces more Pokémon ex, which have high HP and powerful attacks and Ability’s but cost two Prize cards when disabled. Trainers also encounter Tera Pokémon ex again in the new expansion, including Slowking, Forretress and Dedenne. Their full-art illustrations showcase the special crystal effects of their appearance. In addition, new artwork will be introduced for Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare cards. This means Trainers can collect cards with unique artwork that show the personality or evolutions of these Pokémon.

Included in the expansion are the following notable cards:

• 15 Pokémon ex and 3 Tera Pokémon ex
• 36 Illustration Rare Pokémon
• 18 Ultra Rare Pokémon ex and 8 Ultra Rare Supporter cards
• 15 Special Illustration Rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
• 9 etched Hyper Rare Gold cards, including Pokémon ex, Trainer and Energy cards

Trainers can Scarlet & Violet-Paldea Evolved Available at participating stores worldwide in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and special collections.
