It’s a new month and that means we’re staring at a whole slew of new additions on Netflix. For November, the streaming giant kicks off its vacation schedule with a few different offerings, all on top of bolstering this with anticipated sequel seasons and also exciting additional originals. Needless to say, there is a lot to be excited about on Netflix this month.
Before we get into the new additions, a brief disclaimer: we based our choices on a UK release calendar, so be sure to check locally for accurate dates and information.
Meet me next Christmas – Nov. 6
In this romcom, Christina Milian is looking for her perfect romance during a trip to the Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert.
Outer Banks: Season 4 – Part 2 – Nov. 7
The second and final half of the teen drama series. The gang continues to deal with the consequences of becoming famous treasure hunters and the tight financial constraints involved in replicating Poguelandia.
Arcane: Season 2 – November 9
The second and final season of what is often hailed as the best video game adaptation of all time. The League of Legends series will return to explore the explosive storylines unpacked during the exciting first season, while developing the Champions of Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Viktor, Ekko, Heimerdinger and more.
Hot icy – Nov. 13
Another vacation movie. In this film, Lacey Chabert plays the role of Cathy, a widow who manages to bring a snowman to life.
Emilia Perez – Nov. 13
A multilingual crime drama. In this film, Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez lead a stacked cast and appear in this musical film about an underworld boss who wants to leave the dangerous life of crime behind and retire safely.
Sprint: Season 2 – Nov. 13
The second season of one of Netflix’s many sports documentary series. Sprint follows the lives of some of the most talented and promising athletes from around the world and follows them during the Paris Olympics.
Cobra Kai: Season 6 – Part 2 – Nov. 15
The second part of the three-part final season. Here the Miyagi-Do clan must prove their courage and worth at the worldwide Sakai Takai tournament, which features the best dojo, including the indomitable Cobra Kai.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson – Nov. 16
Netflix has tested the live sports waters several times and next on this front will be a big boxing fight between former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson and influencer Jake Paul.
Our oceans – Nov. 20
Barack Obama lends his distinctive voice to yet another in-depth documentary. This next effort delves into the seas and oceans around the world and focuses on many of the beautiful and incredible creatures that call them home.
The Merry Gentlemen – Nov. 20
Another vacation film. This time it is Chad Michael Murray who takes center stage, lending his talents to a film in which he shines as a male exotic dancer performing in a charity show created to save a small-town venue.
A Man on the Inside – Nov. 21
The creator and lead actor of The Good Place are set for a reunion in this upcoming comedy series. Based on the Oscar-nominated documentary The Mole Agent, this series was created by Mike Schur and sees Ted Danson return in the lead role of a retired professor exploring the waters of private investigation.
Enchanted – Nov. 22
Netflix’s largest selection of animated feature films. Spellbound is a film in which Rachel Zegler lends her voice to a princess tasked with going on a grand adventure to save her kingdom and her royal parents after a curse turns them into monsters.
The Empress: Season 2 – Nov. 22
The second season of the historical drama again focuses on the life of Elisabeth, the Empress of Austria during her reign in the 1800s.
Joy – Nov. 22
This biopic focuses on the very first IVF baby and how the remarkable Joy amazed the world by being the first human to be successfully grown in a “test tube.”
The piano lesson – Nov. 22
An adaptation of a 1987 play, The Piano Lesson with Samuel L. Jackson and John David Washington and sees the pair playing roles that delve into legacy and ambition and how it is all connected to a wonderful heirloom, a handmade piano.
Chef’s Table: Season 7 – Nov. 27
Following the recent Noodles -focused season, Chef’s Table will be back and looking more broadly at some of the most amazing and talented names in the culinary world.
Our little secret – Nov. 27
The last vacation movie of the month. This time it’s Lindsay Lohan leading this cast, appearing as a woman who has to spend an awkward Christmas together with her ex, played by Ian Harding, because their current partners are incredibly siblings. What are the odds!
The Madness – Nov. 28
Colman Domingo appears in this Netflix series about an expert who discovers a murder during a brief stint in the Poconos and shortly thereafter must prove his innocence of a crime he did not commit.
Senna – Nov. 29
This sports biographical drama looks at one of the most talented, successful and tragic drivers Formula One has ever seen. This show looks into the life of Aryton Senna and shows how he developed from humble beginnings to a world champion and one of the greatest drivers the world has ever seen.
