Developer FUMI GAMES is pleased to announce that the highly anticipated “grandboomer” shooter MOUSE will launch on PC in 2025. More details, including the exact release date and information on other platforms, will be revealed next year.
MOUSE, a gritty and noir-inspired FPS shooter that takes its inspiration from classic 1930s cartoons, was unveiled earlier this year and generated immense anticipation in the global gaming community.
MOUSE features a unique visual style inspired by the charm of 1930s animations, transporting players to a nostalgic era of early cartoons. Take on the role of a private investigator navigating a noir city filled with gangs, mafia and characters from the dark side. Unravel a quest for justice in a noir city enmeshed in chaos, corruption and vibrant energy, using a diverse arsenal of weapons, power-ups and explosives to counter the takeover by corrupt politicians. The playful weaponry and signature health display, along with enemies that act like cartoon characters, add a lighthearted twist to traditional FPS gameplay.
“MOUSE is incredibly important to us – so we want to make sure MOUSE meets all of its expectations. We wanted to create a game that combines our love of animation and shooters. We’re excited about working closely with our community to create a game that really resonates with players. As development progresses, we will reveal more details when possible. But in the meantime, know that our dedicated and talented team is working hard to bring you the best grandboomer cartoon shooter ever made – says Mateusz Michalak, CEO of Fumi Games.”
Although the game is still in the early development stages and will take some time, Fumi Games could not contain the excitement for the future and wanted to share this news now to show enthusiasm and assure the community that they will listen attentively to feedback and voices.
