Motorola launches in Romania moto g41 and g71 5G, two mid-range phones

Motorola announces the launch of two new models of mid-range smartphones on the Romanian market. These are called moto g41 and g71 5G and benefit from average hardware, similar to what other companies offer in this price category, OLED screens and high capacity batteries. Both models benefit from camera systems with three sensors and attractive design, the housings being made in unique colors.

moto g41: a mid-range with optical stabilization on the camera

moto g41 is equipped with a 6.4 ”OLED screen with Full HD + resolution in 20: 9 aspect ratio. It does not have a fast frequency, being limited to 60 Hz, and the chipset chosen for this model is MediaTek Helio G85. There is only one hardware configuration in Romania, with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, but there is also a SIM2 slot that allows you to attach a microSD card, for more storage.

The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging at 30W and a triple camera system 48 + 8 + 2 megapixels (wide, ultrawide, macro). The main camera also has optical stabilization, something we don’t see very often on phones in this price range. This means that the photos on the main camera have a chance to be more stable, especially in low light.

Moto g41 starts at 1,299 lei and is available in Meteorite Black and Pearl Gold variants.

moto g71: similar, but with 5G

The g71 moto model, on the other hand, comes with a Snapdragon 695 chipset, which also offers an integrated 5G modem. The screen and hardware configuration are similar, with 6.4 ”OLED screen, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Even the 5,000 mAh battery is similar, but on this model, the charge goes up to 33W for 50% charging in just 30 minutes. However, this model does not integrate a microSD card slot.

However, this model compensates with a camera with a better sensor, at least in theory. With 50 megapixels, it should capture more detail. But what the g71’s camera doesn’t have is optical stabilization. The other cameras, 8 and 2 megapixels, are similar to those on the g41.

Moto g71 starts from a slightly higher price, of 1,499 lei.
