NetherRealm Studios has released the first gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 1’s next DLC character – Quan Chi. He will be available to Kombat Pack owners starting Dec. 14 and to all players starting Dec. 21. Check out some of his moves below.
Quan Chi, from NetherRealm, is a major antagonist in the series who uses necromancy. In Mortal Kombat 1, he also uses portals to attack enemies, summoning Cthulhu-like tentacles to whip and throw them around. His Fatality involves vertically slicing his opponent into thin pieces – brutal but efficient.
Khameleon, the next Kameo Fighter, is also shown. She uses moves from Jade, Kitana and Mileena to ready opponents for combos. Interestingly, she will be available in January 2024 instead of with Quan Chi this month. Finally, the trailer gives a sneak peek of Peacemaker from the DC Universe, arriving in February 2024. Check out the preliminary schedule for other characters here.
Mortal Kombat 1 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
