MADRID, May 8. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A total of 106 migrants, including about twenty minors, have been located by the Greek coastguard on the island of Cos, where they would have swum after the sinking of their boat near the coast.
The migrants are in good health and have already been transferred to the Cos Identification Center, as reported by Greek public television, ERT.
The boat had capsized and was partially sunk when the coast guards arrived, who are already checking the surroundings in search of possible survivors, although those rescued assure that there are no missing persons. Some private boats also participate in the search.
Among the located migrants there are 72 men and 14 women of various nationalities, as reported by the authorities.
