Mobile Legends: Bang Bang unveils esports roadmap for 2025

Video game developer, MOONTON Gameshas unveiled its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang roadmap. Announced during the M6 Summit industry conference in Malaysia, the roadmap details when MLBB’s flagship events will take place, as well as prominent third-party tournaments.

Once again, the competition will revolve around MOONTON Games’ two major international events: the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) and the M World Championship. However, the M7 World Championship will not be held next year.. The developer has revealed that the world championship will not be held next year. will return in January 2026, while the MSC will take place between mid-July and early August 2025.

Despite the World Cup being moved to 2026, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will still have a featured competition in December 2025. The 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games of 2025which will be held in Thailand, will take place in mid-December, and the MLBB will feature medals in both the men’s and women’s categories. Another third-party tournament that MOONTON Games has included in its esports calendar for 2025 is the Snapdragon Pro Seriesthe multi-title mobile esports ecosystem from ESL FACEIT Group and Qualcomm.

As in previous years, the two international MOONTON events will be accompanied by the biannual MLBB Professional League (MPL) esports circuits.

MLBB currently has official MPL competitions in Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, LATAM and MENA. Mobile Legends has also expanded to China following the game’s approval in 2023. Teams representing CIS, North America, Turkey and Myanmar were also present at the M6 World Cup.

MLBB’s global expansion continued in 2024 with the creation of the Chinese league. We are excited to witness one of the world’s gaming powerhouses test its strength in the MLBB esports ecosystem.

Along with the roadmap reveal, MOONTON Games also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordan Esports Federation (JEF).. Aiming to develop Jordan’s video game and eSports ecosystem, the agreement will allow both parties to organize MLBB esports events and educational programs.
