Mini brings a digital character to future cars –

Mini has decided that as cars become more technologically advanced, there is no better time to debut a Clippy-like character. As revealed in a new press release ahead of Mini’s appearance at the Shanghai Auto 2023 event, the car company has revealed that it will bring Spike to future cars.

This character is said to be inspired by a British Bulldog, and will serve as a personal assistant for car owners, providing support as users get to grips with all the features modern Minis can offer.

We are also told that Spike “will appear as an active protagonist in the cockpit of the new MINI Concept Aceman.” and that he will be presented to the public on the new car’s central OLED display and dashboard.
