Metamask could offer a crypto payment card with Mastercard

Metamask is currently testing a payment card stamped Mastercard which allows users to spend easily crypto-currenciesaccording to a report.

Famous decentralized Ethereum wallet Metamask is now collaborating with giant Mastercard on a crypto payment card project, reported Coindesk this week after gaining access to marketing documents.

Metamask’s proposed card would be issued by crypto fintech Baanx and would offer wallet users the ability to spend their digital coins anywhere Mastercard payment is accepted. It is presented as “the very first truly decentralized web3 payment solution”..

Baanx, which recently raised $20 million, has already been offering a crypto payment card in partnership with hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger and Visa since late 2022.
