Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will be released on Oct. 24 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Although the PS4 version was announced later, it has been confirmed that it will be released on the same day, with briefly tweeted video showing the console’s logo at the end. It can also be pre-ordered through the PlayStation Store.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 includes Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The VR/Special Missions from the former’s first game are included, while Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 are from the 2011 HD Collection. The compilation aims for 1080p/60 FPS on all platforms except the Nintendo Switch.
Other extras include Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, digital scenarios, digital master books, graphic novels for Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, Metal Gear: Snake’s Revenge and a digital soundtrack.
