PRIME is the latest craze in energy drinks. Brought to you by influencers Logan Paul and KSI, the drink is said to be a healthier alternative to competitors like Red Bull and Monster because of its low-calorie formula.

As the Associated Press reports, U.S. Senator Charles Schumer called on the Food and Drug Administration to investigate PRIME because of its high amount of caffeine. In one can of PRIME, you get 200 milligrams of caffeine per 12 grams, which is the same amount as about 6 Coke cans or almost 2 Red Bulls.

“This content and the claims made should be investigated, along with the ingredients and caffeine content in the Prime energy drink,” Schumer claims.

PRIME has since responded by saying that the energy drink is not intended for consumption by those under 18, and that an alternative without caffeine, called PRIME Hydration, is also available.
