Madrid welcomes once again the best League of Legends in a weekend full of excitement.
Riot has announced that LEC Summer Finals 2025 to be held in Madridwhere the four best teams in EMEA will compete for the summer title and one of the three places that give access to Worlds. From September 26-28, four LEC teams will battle for glory and the final team to qualify for the World Championship will be decided at the Caja Magica.
During the three days of this final of the LEC Summer Split 2025 three live matches will be played at the Caja Mágica, one each day. This year the EMEA Masters Finals will not be part of the event, but excitement is assured in the new format of the finals with more action focused on the LEC and with the last EMEA spot for Worlds up for grabs from the first match on Friday.
All eyes are on Madrid, which once again becomes the epicenter of the League of Legends competitive scene, this time with one of our most prestigious competitions. After the electrifying finals of 2018 and the unforgettable quarterfinals and semifinals of Worlds in 2019, it is an honor to see the LEC return to a city that lives and breathes League, this time in Roadshow format.
We are excited to offer fans an experience that celebrates not only the competition, but also the incredible passion of the Spanish community. Madrid is not just hosting a tournament, it is setting the stage to write a new chapter in our shared history.
Ricardo Herrero, League of Legends Brand Manager Spain
We are thrilled to bring the LEC back to Spain; the passion and energy of the local community is unparalleled. The Roadshow has become the crown jewel of our season, combining high-level games with unforgettable moments for the fans, especially with the LEC XPO. This year, once again, thanks to the Roadshow, we left Berlin to meet our fans where they are, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to share an experience that goes far beyond the Rift – Spanish fans don’t just cheer, they make the arena shake! The last time we were in Madrid, the noise almost rivaled a plane taking off.
Artem Bykov, LEC Commissioner.
Throughout the weekend, fans will once again experience unforgettable matches, an electrifying atmosphere and a celebration of everything that makes the LEC more than just a league. And all this in an event that will be entirely in Spanish, with live commentary from the stadium itself by LVP casters.
