Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James. Who is the GOAT anyway? Maybe it’s too hard to decide on the basketball court, and instead we’ll have to determine which of them is the better actor. After they appeared in the Space Jam movies, it’s pretty hard to say who hides more of a thespian in them.
But it seems James wants the chance to prove himself as a Hollywood mainstay. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, James revealed that he would like to continue acting if the right roles arise because he wants to keep telling stories.
“I think everything will come down to the creative writing and the role. If the role is appropriate and I feel like I can do it well, I wouldn’t mind doing it at all.” he said. “I would love to explore it, and if the scripts start rolling in and there is an opportunity for me to do some acting and I have the time – obviously, after my career – I don’t mind looking at it and seeing if I can definitely make it happen.”
LeBron James also acted in the 2015 film Trainwreck, where he played a comically enhanced version of himself. It would be interesting to see how he does outside of playing himself, but before he can return to the big screen, James would have to finish his basketball career.
