Latest conspiracy theory leads people to believe nuclear bombs are not real -.

The world is full of conspiracy theories, and we all subscribe to at least a few. Don’t lie, you do. Some, however, seem to stand tall for their sheer boldness (or stupidity, depending on how you look at it). One such theory that has been circulating recently states that nuclear weapons are not real.

Let that sink in for a moment. Owen Benjamin has created the most traction on Twitter with this theory, believing because Hiroshima and Nagasaki never had fallout radiation and there was a camera that recorded nuclear test explosions.

Even with Twitter’s added context function proving Benjamin wrong, he is still steadfast in his belief. Perhaps the icing on the cake of all this is that he wields a blue checkmark.
