Swedish supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg has reclaimed its title as maker of the fastest 0-400 km/h street car. Having previously briefly lost the record to Rimac and its Nevera supercar, Koenigsegg’s Regera is back on top, having set a few more blistering times that eclipse even its own old record.
As noted in a press release, the Regera managed to complete 0-400 km/h in just 20.68 seconds, with the car even managing to do 0-400-0 km/h in just 28.81 seconds. This is about a second faster than what Rimac achieved, as the Nevera managed to complete the 0-400-0 km / h performance in 29.93 seconds, which was about two seconds faster than the Regera’s old record (31.49 seconds).
With a second buffer, we’ll have to see if Rimac has enough in the tank to take back the record.
