French e-sports organization Karmine Corphas unveiled its plans for open an esports stadium. During the event Karmine Corp vs The World (KCX3)Karmine Corp revealed that the stadium “Arènes de l’Agora” intends to open its doors in the summer 2024.
According to a twitter postthe facility will have 3,000 seats and will host various events such as parties and official matches.. The post also mentions a “subscription-based system”, although no details about the subscription model have been disclosed. In addition to announcing its plans to open a dedicated e-sports arena, Karmine Corp founder Kamel “Kameto” Kebir revealed that the organization is close to clinching a spot in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC).
Karmine Corp thus joins several organizations and tournament organizers that have opened an arena of their own. Some organizations competing in the League of Legends LPL, as well as Riot Games, have stadiums for fans to watch matches and competitions take place.
Karmine Corp, on the other hand, has managed to generate a solid base of followers since its creation, captivating a large French fan base through multiple titles. The creation of a stadium could therefore allow the organization to to create new sources of revenue.
