Electric aviation company, Joby Aviation, has announced that it has completed production of its first-ever electric VTOL. The vehicle will be made available to consumers and is now entering full production, with plans to begin deliveries as early as next year.
As noted in a press release, the company has also received its Special Airworthiness Certificate, allowing it to begin production at its facility in Marina, California. It was also added that test flights for the first production prototype may now begin.
There is no mention of how much one of these eVTOLs will cost, but we are told that the production prototype will be used at Edwards Air Force Base in California to demonstrate a range of potential use cases.
