HYENAS gives a new look at tomorrow’s closed beta – That’s Gaming

SEGA and Creative Assembly have released the latest version of HYENAS, their gravity-defying extraction shooter, ahead of the first-ever closed beta starting tomorrow at 4 p.m.

This video takes you through the steps needed to give you an edge against enemy hyenas and MURFS and shows just one scenario you may encounter on your Plunderaids. Get ready, aim for a target on the map and decide whether to go for the sneaky approach or just say “darn it,” notifying everyone of your impressive presence.

PC players can register on Steam to participate in all the super-fast, zero-G action you can handle. Take on enemy crews in a race to get in, grab merchandise and get out. A selection of eight specialists will be available to choose from, each bringing a unique weapon, skill and style to the raid.

Meet ballerina Prima, astronaut Commander Wright, super-fast cosplayer Hero-Ki, sniper El Silbón, headbanging pyrotechnics expert Digits, gamer Doc Hotfix and defense expert drag queen Galaxia. The newest character players can try out during the closed beta is Mozie, a charismatic expert on automatic weapons and the first Hyena to stand up to the hypocritical elite of Mars.

Once the closed beta begins, aspiring Hyenas will have the chance to score an invite by following social media for active promotions, or by watching one hour of Drops streams via Twitch Drop. Twitch Drops go live at 7 p.m. tomorrow, but keep in mind that there are a limited number of keys available on a first-come, first-served basis.

HYENAS is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, Windows and Mac and can now be Wishlisted on Steam.
