L’crypto exchange halfway between a CEX and DEX Cube has just obtained fresh capital as part of a tour de table led by 6th Man Ventures.
On Thursday, Cube Group announced that it had completed a $12 million funding round. The Series A led by crypto VC 6th Man Ventures propels the Chicago-based startup’s valuation to $100 million, according to TheBlock.
Cube Group is developing Cube Exchange, a hybrid digital asset exchange platform designed to meet the challenges of both traditional centralized exchanges and decentralized platforms.
Its primary aim: to ensure that assets remain the property of users and are “never subject to commingling, misappropriation or any other illicit use”.
Cube Group’s latest round of funding follows a recent deal in which the company raised $9 million. Other Series A investors include GSR Markets, ParaFi, Susquehanna and Everstake.
Still in beta and supporting the Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana networks, the platform should open its doors in the coming months.
