Honor, the smartphone maker from China, has released a new fitness tracker that could be of particular interest to swimmers and divers.

The Smart Band 7 is available now for €60. What features and functions do you get for this price?

Good equipment at a comparatively low price

There is a on the front 1.47 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 194 x 368 and curved glass. Although the case is made of plastic, a layer of metal powder has been applied to the outside, which is intended to increase the value of the watch. There are three colors to choose from:

The Band 7 is waterproof and has a 5 ATM-Rating. That means it can withstand a water pressure of 5 bar or a water column of 50 meters. However, this does not necessarily mean that it can also be used 50 meters underwater, as the pressure under water can change quickly. A 10 ATM rating or higher is recommended for such purposes.

Nevertheless, the Honor Band 7 could be suitable for swimming and diving in shallow waters. In addition to the pulse, it can also Monitor oxygen levels in your blood and warn you about vibration if it is too low.
