Honor of Kings Championship 2024 to be held in Indonesia

The newly renamed Honor of Kings Championship will hold its 2024 edition in Indonesia, where the teams will fight for $1M in prize money. The event concludes the well-known Honor of Kings Global Invitational Series, which began in March 2024.

The name of the tournament has changed to Honor of Kings International Championship, and the prize pool has been reduced. Last year’s edition had the highest prize of all, with $10M at stake. As in its last edition, the Honor of Kings Championship will feature 16 teams.

The event is the fourth on the Honor of Kings 2024 calendar, which has featured two league divisions and a mid-season competition, the latter of which is integrated into the Esports World Cup. Thanks to a partnership with the Esports World Cup Foundation, organizer of the EWC, Honor of Kings will be present at the 2025 and 2026 editions.

2024 has been a year of expansion for the Honor of Kings esports circuit. In January 2024, Level Infinite unveiled its plans for invest $15M in the ecosystem MOBA ecosystem, including organizing tournaments and entering new markets around the world.

Honor of Kings continues to attract interest from several markets. In June, the French organization Team Vitality unveiled its staff and joined the title’s partnership program, which aims to support the game’s competitive growth and expand its reach.
